The role of the head of a forensic organization in the context of minimizing expert errors: work regulations and responsibility

The article deals with the role of the head of a forensic expert organization in identifying and preventing expert errors, and enhancing the overall quality of expert activities. The analysis of the legislation of the Russian Federation regarding the powers of the head of a forensic organization is carried out, the main problems of normative and organizational regulation of the activities of the head of a forensic organization are identified and described. The necessity of implementing a quality management system in forensic expert activities is emphasized, particularly as a tool for minimizing expert errors, along with the role of the head of the forensic expert organization in this process. The issue of the responsibility of the head of a forensic organization for organizing its activities in the context of the problem of expert errors is considered.
