The role of network structures in the field of combating organized crime (through the example of the fight against corruption and extremism)

In the article, the author considers the issues of network cooperation between law enforcement agencies and civil society institutions with the aim to address various threats to public security of Russia, which are caused by the activities of organized crime. The definition of organized crime is given; the causes and conditions of its origin are identified. The author analyzes the legislation of the Russian Federation on this issue, as well as the main directions of political activity of public organizations aimed at neutralizing this social negative phenomenon using communication technologies.
