The role of shanghai cooperation organization and BRICS in modern world politics: comparative political studies

The article examines the activities of the international organizations in the contemporary world politics - the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and BRICS. The article is based on the global and Russian political practices. Special attention in the framework of these international organizations is paid to establishing the safe society, the countering global threats and risks, as the discussions on these issues are continuing. Thus, the author performs the comparative political analysis of these international organizations, and highlights their similarities and differences.
