The article considers the role of motivation in the overall development strategy of organizations. Attention is paid to the main reasons for the qualitative improvement of the personnel management system in modern conditions. It is concluded that the role of the system of motivation in the development of the organization, which allows to increase the overall effectiveness and competitiveness of the organization.
