The role of social policy in ensuring the economic security of the region

The paper considers the essence of social policy and its main tasks. The rating of the Agency "RIA Rating" on the assessment of regions in terms of "the Ratio of median income to the cost of a fixed set of goods and services in 2018" is given, and the position of the Altai territory in this rating is estimated. Some indicators that affect the economic security of the Altai territory are studied and presented.
