The role of social media and virtual communications in the youth protest dissemination

One of the significant social and political trends of the modern world is the strengthening of radical dissent sentiments often cultivating in the youth environment. Using the case study method based on the empirical data of foreign studies in 1995, 2011 and 2013, the article concludes that the growth of the radicalization of youth is influenced greatly by the virtual networks. However, the nature of this influence is much more complex and diverse than those trends that are discussed by the experts and journalists dealing with the range of problems of social media and their impact on the sociopolitical behavior of the population.
