The Role of Student's Scientifi c Societies in the Formation of Research Competence of Students of Pedagogical Training Programs

The insuffi cient compliance of the results of the graduate’s training as a novice teacher with the current needs of the education sector, society and the state and the need to strengthen the research potential of future teachers determine the relevance of the work related to the search for productive approaches to the formation of research competence of students in pedagogical fi elds of training. The purpose of this article is to consider the role of the student scientifi c society in the formation of students’ research competence. The work of scientifi c student associations at departments, at the faculty and university levels is described. The organizational, managerial and research tasks of the scientifi c work of the departments are highlighted, participation in the formulation and solution of which contributes to the formation of the methodological component of research competence. The role of mentoring in the formation of its motivational component is shown. Student scientifi c events of various scales are presented, the inclusion in the preparation, organization and conduct of which ensures the formation of an organizational and methodological component. The conclusion is made about the importance of the potential of student scientifi c societies in the formation of students’ research competence.
