Role of cultural policy’s subjects in the process of Russian identity formation

Not only educational institutions should participate in translating spiritual values but also cultural institutions. However, this translation mechanism was broken in the 1990s. These circumstances determined the necessity to analyze genesis and dynamics of the cultural policy subjects in the state of Russia. Confrontation of traditional and borrowed cultures, being observed throughout the history of forming Russia as a nation, stipulated development of the hybrid cultural identity. The present paper defines and analyzes its components.
