The role of the "third sector" in the public life of the country

This scientific article reveals the development trends of non-governmental non-profit organizations (NGOs) and other institutions of civil society. The social, economic and political functions of the “third sector” are analyzed. The participation of public organizations in the process of social modernization of society has been studied. The experience of Uzbekistan in the development of the "third sector" was also analyzed.
