The role of tri-n-butylboron in the polymerization of vinyl monomers in the presence of p-quinones

Бесплатный доступ

Tri-n-butylboron coordinates growing polymethyl methacrylate and polyvinyl acetate radicals, promoting the flow of coordination-radical polymerization of methyl methacrylate and vinyl acetate, which is not typical for styrene polymerization. When p-quinone and tri-n-butilboron are present simultaneously, the controlled radical polymerization of styrene and methyl methacrylate is implemented, while in the case of vinyl acetate the inhibition of polymerization takes place.

Methyl methacrylate, vinyl acetate, styrene, anthraquinone, duroquinone, naphthoquinone, 3-dimethylbenzoquinone, tri-n-butylboron, coordination and radical polymerization
