Resume: The article is devoted to the analysis of the place and role of managing labor motivation in the personnel management system. The theoretical aspects and characteristics of personnel motivation management are considered. The main stages of the formation of the employee motivation system at the enterprise are highlighted. The influence of staff motivation on the formation of the income and expenditure part of the enterprise’s economic activity, including the formation of its financial result, is analyzed.
