The article demonstrates the dependence of achieving strategic goals on decisions in the field of personnel management using the example of a specific medical institution. The development of the market for paid medical services is associated with the intensification of commercial activities of state healthcare institutions along with the fulfillment of the state task and, of course, with the rapid growth in the number of market participants from the private sector. But state institutions have practically no experience in implementing growth strategies, so they have to look for the most optimal ways to achieve success in commercial activities, including through solutions in the field of personnel management.
