The role of volunteer activity in the professional training of students in social work

The article examines the peculiarities of the influence of volunteer activity on the professional training of students studying in the direction of "Social Work"Volunteer work in the social and educational space provides prerequisites for maintaining humanization in society, and also contributes to the effective building of close relationships between different age and social groups of the population (children, students, parents of children, specialists of the foundation, teachers of the department). This type of activity contributes to the change of students' worldview, the development of various additional skills, gives them the opportunity to unite, discover something new, be useful and needed by others. The article analyzes the continuity of volunteering and modern methods of working with the needy population, as well as the professional training of a specialist in the field of social work.
