The role of recovery in improving the level of training of athletes in power sports

This article provides a thorough and detailed analysis of the restoration process as the most important factor in increasing the efficiency of power trainings. Erroneous allegations regarding the issue under consideration have been identified and refuted. A brief characteristic of the state of overrunning of athletes is given. On the basis of scientific research conclusions are drawn about the optimal amount of time required for athletes to recover after power trainings.
