The role of foreign investment in the economy of the country

Research paper studies problems and tasks of attracting foregian direct investment to the economy. In Uzbekistan scientific researches on studying of the economic party of investment activity are carried out, certain results and success about which in the work authors in detail state are made in this direction. Improvement of the legal, social and economic and other conditions promoting liberalization of foreign economic activity, providing attraction of direct foreign investments in national economy, realization of money in the priority directions, and also in the directions connected with production of competitive production - all this is the basic principles of investment policy. In conclusion of work it is noted that a main objective of realization of public policy on attraction of the foreign investments directed to increase of competitiveness of national economy is assistance to the economic growth of the country and its competitiveness in a foreign market, ensuring its economic sovereignty and achievement of effective use of economic advantages.
