The article deals with the conditions of preservation and formation of the value of a healthy lifestyle of students. One of the conditions is the health-saving space of the school. Scientific approaches to the problem of physical and mental health of schoolchildren, as well as the problem of increasing the number of bad habits are analyzed. The paper presents the ideas of scientists N. Amosov, health and awareness of its value depends on the person; R. Ryvkina, a healthy lifestyle from the conditions of human life in which he lives. The presented reflections determine the role of health-saving space of the school in the formation of the value of a healthy lifestyle. Health-saving space of the educational institution includes pedagogical activities and functions of teachers aimed at the child as a subject of the pedagogical process. The article touches upon the issue of the importance of pedagogical educational influences on the developing personality as an important criterion of the healthy value formation.
