The value of land policies for managing development in rural areas

The authors consider the vector land policy aimed at regulating the development of rural areas. Systematized the main directions of researches of domestic scientists in the sphere of management of development of rural territories. The results of the analysis of foreign and domestic experience in the implementation of land policies concerning the rural areas. The proposed quantitative method of monitoring the development of rural areas, shown on the example of the Moksha district of Penza region.
