The role of the phonetic transformations of the words in the space of the modern poetic texts

The article deals with the analysis of the functions of the metaplasms in the space of the poems of the modern Russian poets, particularly their role in keeping the meter and rhyme as the important categories of the poetic text. The activization of the metaplasms is considered as the reflection of the tendencies of the development of the modern Russian literary language that are connected with the noticeable liberalization of its norms in the sphere of the verbal creativity.
