E. Zamyatin’s novel “We” in the context of the “big dialogue”: to the question of interpretation of one symbol

The article is devoted to the study of the possible symbolic context of the novel “We” by E. Zamyatin. Using the techniques of intertextual analysis of one of the key symbols in his poetics, the semantic connection of the ideological content of the work with the novel by M. Bulgakov “The Master and Margarita” and the novel by V. Dudintsev “White Clothes” is revealed in the aspect of the key conflict between the individual and the totalitarian system.
