Russia and China in the system of global challenges: the foundations of a new paradigm of cooperation

Бесплатный доступ

The relevance of the study of Russian-Chinese relations and their importance as international leaders is due to the increasing risks of armed conflicts, economic struggle, and ideological confrontation. The conduct of a special military operation by the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine has strained relations with geopolitical competitors and raised the problem of building a paradigm of the modern multipolar world. In the context of geopolitical, informational, economic and ideological confrontation between the centers of power, China's position attracts attention. A formal and logical analysis of the steps taken by the subjects of international relations, enshrined in the statements of state leaders, official representatives, as well as traced in regulatory legal documents and historical retrospect, leads to conclusions that China's political vector presupposes the establishment of stable interests, both in relation to Russia and in relation to the "collective West".
