The article reveals the meaning of decisions made at the Yalta Conference of the allied countries and especially the role of the Soviet Union in the Mongolian issue, which is considered as preserving a status quo for the Mongolian People’s Republic. Along with that, the author refers to the deliverables of the conference and the memoirs of the leaders of the Big Three.
