Russia regaining its lost glory in Africa

Russia's foreign policy has taken a different approach after the collapse of the Soviet Union. Considering the power and influence that Russia had on the globe, especially in Africa and Latin America, which was lost after the collapse of the Soviet Union due to internal reforms, Russia is on the path to regain its glory in global politics and be considered once again as a superpower. However, that cannot be achieved if Russia is not able to exert that on the African continent. Therefore, Russia is willing to come back strategically to regain its lost glory in Africa.
