Russian stock market: contemporary trends and problems

In the article modern tendencies and problems of the Russian stock market in modern complicated geopolitical conditions are considered. The general growth rates of the global economic slowdown, armed conflicts in the East, and economic restrictive sanctions are additional negative factors for the fall in the rates of Russian securities. Decrease in the volume of capitalization of the domestic stock market by main categories of shares indicates a slowdown in the Russian economy. To overcome this situation, a radical restructuring of the domestic economy and its reorientation with resource-dependent processing and production of final consumption goods is required.
