The Russian market of asset securitisation: development tendencies and factors

The article specifies the economic content of the concept of asset securitisation and analyses the two basic securitisation types - traditional and synthetic. The analysis of the Russian market reveals its tendencies and specific features and shows that currently it is restricted to the mortgage assets securitisation market. The authors formulated the factors and measures which will facilitate the development of asset securitisation in Russia.
