Russian-Chinese partnership: successes, challenges, prospects

The trade and economic partnerships of the Russian Federation and China in 2001 were fixed by the agreement on good neighborliness, friendship and cooperation. The article conducted an analysis of the indicators of the Russian-Chinese turnover for the period from 2001 to 2022. On the development of export-import relations between the two countries, the corresponding conclusions have been made, with the allocation of the achieved positive results and the difficulties arose. A feature has been highlighted in the structure of export-import relations of the Russian Federation and China in the conditions of Soviet and modern periods. Special attention is paid to issues of investment cooperation and the development of its potential regarding the implementation of promising investment projects. In addition to the cooperation of the two countries in industrial and transport orientation, the significance of the partnership of the Russian Federation and the PRC in the tourism industry is indicated. The bet on achieving mutually beneficial results, the search for effective communication formats in various areas of cooperation is a significant, defining output, to planned targeted results.
