The birth of romantic imagination from the spirit of Greek enlightenment

The article investigates discursive collisions of the Greek Enlightenment, in its attempt to compile achievements of European intellectual life and local conservative habits. The rational argumentation was oppressed with particular argumentations of different sciences and humanities, with the imagination as rationale. Radical intentions of the Greek Enlightenment proposed the Romantic state of imagination, and studies in Greek Enlightenment and its European influence allows us to understand better juxtapositions of traditional and modernization elements of the romance writing culture.
