The article presents the manuscripts of сandidate’s and мaster’s dissertations identified in the archive of the Kazan Theological Academy (National Archive of the Republic of Tatarstan. Stock 10). The works of graduates of the Academy who continued their church service, as well as church-pedagogical, scientific and missionary activities in Eastern Siberia are considered. The final works of St. Meletius (Yakimov), Gurius (Burtasovsky) and Hieromartyr Efrem (Kuznetsov) — outstanding missionaries, heads of Eastern Siberian spiritual missions and bishops — are described in detail. The dissertation of the famous orientalist Archpriest I. A. Podgorbunsky is also analyzed. These works have never been published in full, and their contents are disclosed for the first time. Dissertations are analyzed in the context of the entire theological and scientific heritage of their authors. The works themselves, as well as reviews by reviewers, are important for studying the biographies of their authors. In addition, many dissertations are original research, and their study and publication may have value for the history of theological and Church historical science. The materials and research results presented in the article are published for the first time.
