Russian philosophy about the nature of marriage and family

The article studies the views on the nature of marriage and family in the Russian philosophy. The article deals with the transformation of family relations from the perspective of social philosophy. The author analyzes the evolution of family values and considers the family traditions described in the Russian philosophy. It is concluded that the Russian philosophy considered the family as the highest value basing on such concepts as faith, marital union, happiness of motherhood and fatherhood, obedience of a woman, etc. The author discusses the idea that the marriage based on love influences consequent development of the couple's lofty sentiments towards the motherland and the state.
