The article discusses the history of creation and activity of various aspects of Russian Conservatory named after S. V. Rachmaninoff, existing in Paris for almost a hundred years. It gives the names of the teachers and leaders of Russian musical culture, who supported this institution. The paper reports about the structure and activity directions of Conservatory at the present time. The article also mentioned Conservatory named after Alexander Skryabin in Paris, created in 1997. On its basis the annual piano competition for young performers is organized. Both schools are named after the greatest Russian composers of the early XX century. They both contribute to the spread of Russian culture in France and in other countries.
