Russian literature across the border

The article attempts to identify some of the typological features of Russian literature abroad. Differences between self-awareness and self-consciousness of Russian culture in different countries are very important. A lot of literature sites and internet-journals of Russian writers give a presentation about cultural and psychological adaptation migrants far and near abroad. In the context of the study of the complex process of cross-cultural interactions emerging in Eurasia, cautious optimism infuses the conclusion that the Russian language is still playing the role of a means of international communication, and Russian literature on the other side of the border contributes to its preservation and promotion, as well as the unification of the creative forces and popularization of Russian culture.
