Pre-revolutionary Russian theological academies in the testimonies of their Serbian students

This paper brings particular exemplars of the testimonies about Pre- revolutionary Russian Theological Academies that are brought their Serbian Students. They were written during the second half of the nineteenth century and in the beginning of the twentieth century. This work examines the notes in the memoire forms, one official report to the Serbian Church authorities, and one polemic about the Russian academic theology in the Serbian Church print. The authors of these testimonies were important persons in the life of the Serbian Orthodox Church: Metropolitan Mihajlo (Jovanovic), Bishop Nikodim (Milas), Ljubomir Rajic (Bishop Vladimir), and Protopresbyter Stevan Dimitrijevic. Their testimonies were important sources of the informations for the Serbian Orthodox Church about Russian Theological Academies.
