"Russian Italians" - the fighters for peace and equality: an exhibition devoted to Anna Kuliscioff and angelica Balabanoff in the Milan museum of the Risorgimento

The article provides an overview of the exhibition «Anna Kuliscioff and Angelica Balabanoff: War, Emancipation, the Right to Vote» held in Milanese Museum of the Risorgimento in November 2015 - January 2016. The exhibition is devoted to the 90th anniversary of the death of A. Kuliscioff and the 50th anniversary of the death of A. Balabanoff (the natives of the Russian Empire, the prominent activists of the Italian socialist movement) and to the 100th anniversary of joining Italy to the World War I as well. The printed materials (books, periodicals) are prevalent among the exhibits. Visual dominant of the exhibition is the reconstruction of the living room of A. Kuliscioff and F. Turati. It was a political salon known and popular in wide circles of the Italian society for three decades. The author describes the main sections and the most interesting exhibits in the context of the main intension of the exhibition and events of Italian and Russian history of the last third of the 19th - the first half of the 20th centuries.
