Russian women as IT-specialists in the USA

The article is devoted to the analysis of the characteristics of career growth of Russian-speaking women as IT-specialists in the modern United States. The author considers the most important advantages and disadvantages of professional self-realization of Russian women in large IT companies of Silicon Valley and gives a comparative analysis of the goal setting and motivation of American and Russian women in moving up the career ladder. The article shows the attitude towards such specific features of women's work in the high-tech sector, as well as the reasons for the differences between men and women self-realization in this area. In addition, the author gives characteristics of the attitude of executives of the largest IT-companies in Russia to the prospects for career growth of women in the IT-field.
