Russian symbolist and Strindberg

The article deals with the unknown biographical facts of A. Blok and V. Piast - an interpreter, writer and journalist. Invocation to prosaic works of the Swedish dramatist August Strindberg became an important factor of spiritual closeness between a poet and a writer. V. Piast’s trip to Stockholm initiated by A. Block in 1912 is described. Similar motives inherent to the works of the Russian poet-symbolist and Swedish dramatist are identified.
