Russian style in civil building of Vladivostok

The article investigates the civic buildings in Russian style, which were built in Vladivostok in late 19th and early 20th centuries. The author analyzes the Russian style architecture of Vladivostok in the context of the development of this trend in the buildings of the south of Russian Far East. It is also concluded that this trend was connected with ideological geopolitical guidelines of Russian Empire.
