The article examines the cheese market in the Russian Federation and in particular in the Republic of Tatarstan. The emphasis in the work is made precisely on this subject, because The Republic of Tatarstan occupies the main position in the development of the regional economy in Russia. The factors that positively affect the development of domestic dairy companies are presented. Reasons for stimulating the growth of cheese production have been identified, measures are listed that will help cheese producers enter a new market and find their customers.
