The article analyzes the consequences of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the economy and labor market in the world and in the Russian Federation. The main issue is the impact of the crisis on the structure of the economy and the demand for labor in the context of types of employment and professional qualification groups of workers. The relevance of the topic and the novelty of the work consist in the fact that the article examines the changes that have occurred in the labor market and in the field of employment in connection with the crisis phenomena of 2020.
