The review analyzes the monograph on media journalism by A. I. Solzhenitsyn, created in the period from 2000 to 2008, which became his artistic and political will of the nation. The subject of the author and the reviewer be the phenomenon of the journalism of A. I. Solzhenitsyn in the culture of the early twenty-first century, systematic, and text forming properties of the media journalistic texts of the writer. Special attention is paid to spiritual and moral guidance of the late classic journalism, communicative strategies his texts, mylopharodon and speech strategies of the writer in the interpretation and evaluation of his work a young Cuban researcher. Considered the republication of earlier articles by A. I. Solzhenitsyn in 2009-2014 and their perception in the post-Soviet discourse.
