The garden of Saint Troitsk Selenginsk Monastery of the second half of the XIXth century as a part of cultural heritage (to the issue of reconstruction)

The article gives the description of the first trans-Baikal monastery. On the basis of archive sources the species diversity of trees, bushes, herbs characteristic of trans-Baikal nature has been revealed. The landscape space monastery design was thoroughly planned in the XVIIIth century and continued to develop in the XIXth century. The area of the monastery garden included the adjoining territory behind its walls. In the XXth century historically created interior landscape of the monastery was lost.
