The “Sacred Vertical” of Russia as a Country-Civilization in the Paradigm of “Information – Communication – Culture”

Introduction. The relevance of the study is related to the importance of solving the problem of informatization of Russian culture, awareness of the potential of cultural and information resources of Russia, necessary for the reproduction of Russian identity, which is especially acute in the conditions of information expansion of Western culture. The purpose of the study is to analyze the works of famous Russian thinkers and modern authors, which allows us to reveal the essence of the informational nature of culture and its role in the preservation of Russian civilizational identity. Materials and Methods. The material of the research is philosophical and cultural concepts of information and culture, contributing to the solution of the problem of informatization of Russian culture, understanding of socio-cultural processes occurring in modern Russian society. Analyzing texts with high value and symbolic load, allowing to represent the “sacred vertical” of Russia as the core of its cultural identity (M. M Bakhtin, N. A. Berdyaev, Yu. M. Lotman, V. S. Stepin, V. L. Tsymbursky and others), the author uses the methodology of cultural hermeneutics. Results and Discussion. The author focuses on the spiritual and symbolic core of Russia – its “sacral vertical” (V. L. Tsymbursky) and the works of Russian thinkers that most vividly represent it. Presenting the civilizational future of the country, the author substantiates the potential of cultural and informational resources necessary for the reproduction of Russian identity. Information and culture are considered as independent variables in relation to the macrosystem “Russia – country – civilization”. Culture as a superbiological program of coding and transmission of accumulated social experience is considered both as a tradition and as a generator of new activity programs. Information is presented as a category that allows describing the processes of bringing social objects into one or another sociocultural form. Conclusion. The article contributes to the understanding of contemporary cultural processes in Russia, comprehension of the problems of the country's information sovereignty, reproduction of Russian identity.
