The article is devoted to issues related to the creation of a philharmonic building in Samara in the 80s of the twentieth century in the heyday of the Art Deco style. Particular attention is paid to the external solution, layout and interior decoration. We consider the stylistic features that have developed under the influence of historical associations, including new trends in art. The specificity of the artistic language, the peculiarity of semantic, symbolic meanings was studied with regard to the search for a modern approach to the construction of free internal spaces, where the visual connection between the interior and the architectural environment is noticeable. The prevailing trends in the development of interiors with the inclusion of works of monumental and decorative art, which dictated new methods of application of the synthesis of arts, are noted. The article also analyzes the significant compositional solutions that became the basis for the creation of an artistic and imaginative system.
