Self-analysis of firing results as an important factor of mastering firing skills at educational organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation

The article gives an overview of the authors’ long-term pedagogical experience in teaching cadets to conduct self-analysis of firing effectiveness when mastering firing skills. The authors suggest the form of a self-analysis journal and give scientific grounds for it. The properly conducted self-analysis secures the appropriate scheme of actions in the marksman’s consciousness, enables to reveal and analyze the mistakes made and helps to understand that firing effectiveness depends on the marksman’s proper actions.
