Self-education of higher school students in the context of the new educational paradigm

The article is concerned with actualization of the selfeducation of higher school students in the conditions of globalization and integration of education. The author reviews interpretations of the selfeducation activities in the foreign publications. The role of the self-education in the context of development of the new educational paradigm “Life Long Learning" is analyzed.
