Professional competencies self-assessment by teachers in rural schools

The article analyzes the results of the professional competencies self-assessment by rural teachers (N = 42) based on data obtained as a result of a survey conducted in April 2017. The study was carried out in the gymnasium and the secondary school of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The data comparison shows a higher level of competencies of the gymnasium teachers. The results of self-assessment can be used in management of school staff.
