Tibetans are one of the most numerous divided nations living around the world. The article describes the results of self-organization of Tibetans in India and other countries after mass immigration from the PRC after 1959. Tibetan Buddhism plays the main role in consolidating Tibetan communities, being the source of integration and international support for Tibetan society.
