The self-attitude and the gender identity as factors of corporality image formation of modern youth

The article presents the research results dealing with the self-attitude of boys and girls engaged and not engaged in physical education and sport, the gender identity of young people engaged in "masculine" or "feminine" sports and not engaged in sport activities. The author considers empirical findings concerned with how the physical training and sport and gender factors affect the formation of the modern youth's physical and aesthetic image, their self-image. The research prospects are also discussed.
