Self-understanding as leader’s image creation

The main attention of the author is focused on the analysis of self-understanding of a leader in the image formation process. In the article the ratio of the external image and internal representation, which in case of discrepancy leads to the internal conflict, is carried out. It is noted that in case of observance of someone else's rules and standards a leader ceases to perceive himself or herself; self-understanding, self-perception disappear and other reference points which disturb formation of the desirable image appear. With the help of examples the author proves that if we try to understand something external we certainly express ourselves.
