Self-presentation of translator in sport blogosphere

The article presents the comparative analysis of the English-language media texts devoted to tennis events and their translations into Russian performed by the authors/coauthors of Russian sports blogs. The author pays special attention to both linguistic peculiarities of translation and the authors' linguistic means, which Russian translators use to emphasize their authorial opinions and to show their presence. The author concludes that this allows us to talk about the new media behavior of the authors.
