Self-regulation of valuation activities in the Russian Federation

According to the Conception of the administrative reform in the Russian Federation in 2006-2010, one of the areas of work in the framework of the administrative reform was development and adoption of regulatory legal acts of the Russian Federation abolishing redundant and duplicate functions carried out by the executive authorities, allowing to transfer a number of state functions to self-regulating organizations and establish mechanisms preventing emergence of new redundant functions in the executive branch. The article describes the challenges and the prospects of valuation activities self-regulation in the Russian Federation.
