Independent work of students in the Moodlе educational platform

The article is devoted to the problem of activating students' independent work through information technologies, in particular through the Moodle distance learning system. The literature analysis of the problem, the choice of the optimal model, as well as methodological and technological issues for creating a seminar course in the form of an ESSE are presented.
